The New South Wales Waratahs have desperately urged Australia star Kurtley Beale not to leave following reports he has signed a two-year deal with Aviva Premiership side Wasps worth a staggering FJ$4.5 million.
It would make him the highest-paid player in England.
A report in today’s Times claims Beale has agreed to join Dai Young’s side in Coventry for next season.
It has been suggested that the 27-year-old has been signed as an inside centre rather than fullback.
Meanwhile, the Waratahs will face the Bulls at 9.40pm tonight, the Hurricanes will take on the Reds at 7.35pm while the Sunwolves will meet the Stormers at 11.45pm.
In games played last night, the Highlanders beat the Crusaders 34-26, while the Brumbies beat the Rebels 30-22.
