Proud moment for 18-year-old Permal after debuting for Fiji soccer team

It was a proud moment for 18-year-old Manav Permal as he made his debut for the Vodafone Fiji soccer team in a friendly match against Solomon Islands last night.

Permal, the year 13 student of Vashisht Muni College says that this would be the proudest moment in his soccer career as his father came to see him play.

Meanwhile Fiji soccer captain Beniamino Mateniqara says they have learnt from last night and will improve on some areas in game two.

Fiji drew 1-1 with Solomon Islands last night while game two will be played at 3pm Sunday at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary of the game on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
