Former Flying Fijians coach Wayne Pivac says his current Welsh side Scarlet’s 22-21 win over Toulon is historic.
Pivac who guided the Fiji 7s team to the 7s World Cup in 2005 says they did everything they wanted to do and that was to improve on the performance of last week.
The victory means Scarlets have now won their last seven consecutive games at their home ground and Pivac says everything went to plan against Toulon.
Pivac says they created some good scoring opportunities and they knew at half time they would be in for a real contest as Scott Williams scored the only try of the game.
Toulon has some big names in rugby with the likes of Bryan Habana, Ma’a Nonu, James O’ Connor and Leigh Halfpenny.
