Natabua High School U17 team performing well at schools basketball championship

Natabua High School is the team to look out for in the U17 boys grade as they head into day 2 of the National Secondary Schools Basketball Championships unbeaten.

Natabua High School U17 boys thrashed Marist Brothers High School Team 1 25-1 this morning.

Natabua High School earlier thumped Ratu Kadavulevu School 41-3.

In other U17 matches played this morning, Marist Brothers High School beat Saint John’s College 23-11, John Wesley College edged Tilak High School 11-10 and Gospel High School thrashed RKS 23-7.

U19 defending boys champions, Saint John’s College lost to Marist Brothers High School 11-7 in their second pool match.

Marist earlier thrashed Swami Vivekananda College 25-3.

In other results of the second round of games for the U19 boys grade, the All Stars edged Tilak High School 21-20 and SVC thumped Gospel High School 21-4.

In the U17 boys grade, Natabua High School thrashed Marist Brothers High School Team 1 25-1 this morning.

Natabua earlier thumped Ratu Kadavulevu School 41-3.

In other U17 matches, Marist Brothers High School beat Saint John’s College 23-11, John Wesley College edged Tilak High School 11-10 and Gospel High School thrashed RKS 23-7.

Meanwhile, Suva Grammar School are currently playing Gospel High School in the U19 girls competition at the FMF Gymnasium.
