Nadi rugby in a tough path

Nadi rugby in a tough path

Defending Digicel Fiji Cup champion Nadi has a tough path to follow in trying to retain their title this season.

The side has played most of their games this year without coach Iliesa Tanivula who guided them to win both the Digicel Cup and Farebrother Sullivan trophy last year.

Currently former national rep Vuate Naresia and Joeli Lotawa are in charge of the team as they try to secure a semifinal spot.

Nadi sits in 5th position on the points table facing a must win situation in all of their remaining 3 games.

Tanivula believes that the biggest challenge is that they will have to play all of the games away from home.

In this Saturday's games: Suva will host Nadi, Navosa travels to Lautoka, Naitasiri takes on Namosi, Rewa faces Northland and Ovalau plays Nadroga.
