Defending champions Rewa have been defeated by Nadi 2-nil in the 2018 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants match today.
The defending champions made many efforts to score, however were unsuccessful at every attempt.
Rewa will have to await the outcome of the Suva-Nadi match to decide their fate in the whole tournament.
Nadi’s first goal was scored by William Valentine in the 18th minute of the first half while the second goal was netted by Rusiate Matarerega who scored twice for team in the match against Dreketi yesterday.
Matarerega who has thanked the almighty for their win against the defending champions today says they will not take the match against Suva lightly.
Nadi will now take on Suva tomorrow at 3pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
