Most of the Fijian players in the NRL Telstra Premiership have confirmed their availability for the extended Fiji Bati squad to play at the Rugby League World Cup next year.
Fiji National Rugby League CEO Timoci Naleba said these players include Suliasi Vunivalu, Akuila Uate, Waqa Blake, Jarryd Hayne, Jayson Bukuya, Korbin Sims, Eloni Vunakece and Kane Evans.
Naleba says they will be part of the squad for the Fiji Bati’s game against the Toa Samoa next month except for Jarryd Hayne.
He says the presence of these players will boost the team as they are into the final stages of selection.
The Fiji Bati team to play Samoa will be named on the 29th of this month.
They will be leaving for Samoa on the 1st of October and play them on October 8th.
