West Ham was leading United 1-0 at half time.
The kick‑off was delayed by 45 minutes after the Manchester United bus was attacked on the way to the ground.
According to BBC, bottles were thrown and smashed the bus’s glass as police escorted the visitors into the stadium.
United Captain said he is sure that West Ham as a club will be disappointed with what the fans have done.
