Fiji born Kitione Vikash will be looking at making his debut for the Canberra Raiders side in the Holden Cup competition.

Fiji born Kitione Vikash will be looking at making his debut for the Canberra Raiders side in the Holden Cup competition.

Vikash whose dad is from Malamala, Nadi and mum from Kadavu moved to Australia when he was two years old. 

Speaking to Fijivillage from Australia, Vikash says seeing Jarryd Hayne play for the Bati inspired him to take up the sport.

Vikash says he knows he has to work hard to get a regular spot in the team. 

Vikash has been described as a versatile back with a huge future in Rugby League.

Vikash will be joined by fellow Fijian Mikaele Ravalawa who will also be looking to make his debut for the Raiders.

Other Fijian players that have played for the Raiders side include Sisa Waqa and Noa Nadruku.
