Former Swami Vivekananda College (SVC) student, and Swire Shipping Fijian Drua debutant Maika Tuitubou, says he is excited to be playing alongside former France international Virimi Vakatawa tomorrow.
Tuitubou says he has always watched Vakatawa playing on television and will finally line up with him when they take on the Chiefs tomorrow in Round 11 of
the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific, which is also the Super Round.Insert: Tuitubou April 25
Tuitubou is a product of the Nadi Rugby U19, Fiji U20s, and the Drua Development pathway.
He featured for the national U20 side on their NZ Tour and at the 2023 World Rugby Championship.
The former SVC student later represented the Fiji Warriors in 2023 and 2024 before being placed by the Drua at the Norths Rugby Club in Queensland’s Hospital Cup.
The Fijian Drua play the Chiefs at 4.30pm tomorrow at One New Zealand Stadium, Christchurch.
In other games, the Hurricanes will meet the Brumbies at 5.05pm, the Blues will face the Reds at 7.35pm, while the Highlanders take on Moana Pasifika at 2pm tomorrow.
