Judokas Closer to Olympic Spots

Judokas Closer to Olympic Spots
Sisilia Nasiga is just a step away from qualifying to take part in the Olympic Games next year in Beijing.

Nasiga won a gold medal in the Under 70 kg at the Oceania Judo
Championship in Perth yesterday.

She will just need to reach the final in March next year in Christchurch to qualify for the Olympics.

Other two judoka vying for a spot in the Beijing Games are Josateki Naulu and Nacanieli Takayawa who both won a bronze medal each yesterday.

They will now have to win in Christchurch to book a place in the 2008 Olympic Games.
