Jerry Tuwai is Fiji Rugby Men’s 7s Player of Year

The Fiji Rugby Men’s 7s Player of Year is Fiji Men’s National 7s team halfback and former captain Jerry Tuwai.

Tuwai was given the award at the FRU Awards Gala night event at the Grand Pacific Hotel last night.

He led the Fiji Airways Men’s National Sevens team to win five titles in the 2017/2018 season.

The team won four tournaments in a row from Vancouver to London.

He also scored 25 tries and earned himself a place in the HSBC Dream Team of the season.

Semi Radradra is the Fiji Rugby Men’s 15s Player of the Year.

Radradra starred in the Barbarians historic 63-45 victory over England and was also part of Fiji Airways Flying Fijians famous victory over France playing at center and scoring a try for Fiji.

The Domestic Player of the Year is Frank Lomani while Alivereti Veitokani is the Drua Player of the Year.

Drua coach Senirusi Seruvakula received the Fiji Rugby Coach of the Year award.

The Pacific Rugby Players Outstanding Commitment to Personal Development Award was given to Vilikesa Ravutu.

Fiji Rugby Female 7s Player of the Year is Lavenia Tinai while Rusila Nagasau is the Fiji Rugby 15s Women's Player of the Year.

The Life time Achievement Award was given to the Late Paula Cavu.

The Hall of Fame Inductee is Ilaitia Tuisese who played 17 tests for Fiji.
