Fiji 15's second five-eighth Gabrieli Lovobalavu is expected to make his debut for the Toulon rugby club this weekend.
Lovobalavu joined the French Division Two side last week on a one-year contract after his impressive form in last year's Rugby World Cup.
Speaking to Village sports from her home in Savusavu, Lovobalavu's mother Va Lovobalavu said she's delighted to see her son play with big stars such as George Gregan, Andrew Mehrtens, Victor Matfield and Tana Umaga who is their coach.
Meanwhile Gabrieli said although this is his first overseas contract, he will still be available for Fiji this season.
Toulon is hotly tipped to be promoted in the France Top 14 competition as they lead the Division Two competition with Rupeni Caucau's Agen in second place.
