The Vodafone Flying Fijians are now ranked 10th in the World Rugby rankings released yesterday.
Fiji moved up from 11th place to replace Japan at No.10 after beating Tonga in the Pacific Nations Cup.
They are now the top ranked team in the Pacific ahead of Tonga who is ranked 13th and Samoa ranked 14th.
The top 5 rugby teams in the world are New Zealand, Australia, England, South Africa and Argentina.
Fiji will face Samoa in their second match of the Pacific Nations Cup this Saturday at 3pm.
Manu Samoa is expected to arrive in Fiji this afternoon.
