Vodafone Flying Fijians captain Sunia Koto expects nothing but a brutal contest against their Pacific rivals Manu Samoa in their Pacific Nations Cup clash today.
The veteran hooker admits that they made a lot of errors in their 23-18 victory over Tonga last week and they have been working hard to change their approach.
Koto said they will need to stick to their game plan, lessen their mistakes and stick to the new system that has been introduced in the team.
He said Samoa is coming with experienced overseas based players to meet them this afternoon and they expect a tough match.
He added they will try and retain the PNC title to lighten the load for next year in the Rugby World Cup qualifier.
Fiji has met Samoa 49 times.
We have won 26 of those games, lost 20 while the two sides have drawn three times.
Fiji beat Samoa 39‑29 last year.
Meanwhile Samoa will field a strong side which includes Tusi Pisi, Motu Matu’u, Alafoti Fa’osiliva, Rey Lilo, Census Johnston and Faifili Levave.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will meet Manu Samoa at 3pm today at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on Viti FM.
