The Fiji soccer side remains at the 179th position in the latest FIFA world rankings and is the 6th best team in the Oceania region.
Fiji is scheduled to play New Zealand and New Caledonia next year in the Stage 3 qualification of the FIFA World Cup.
The region’s top team New Zealand has dropped 28 places to 116th spot while PNG has moved up 3 places to 159th spot.
Meanwhile, Argentina remains the number one team in world soccer, Germany is 2nd while Brazil is now 3rd.
