Fiji Water has today handed over a cheque of $50,000 to the Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum as part of their 3‑year‑sponsorship for the Fijian Rugby Team.
While handing over the cheque, Fiji Water’s Global President, Elizabeth Stephenson says Fiji Water will be giving the team $50,000 a year for the next three years.
She says they are very excited for the upcoming World Cup and will also be donating water to the team.
While receiving the cheque on behalf of the Fiji Rugby Union President, Voreqe Bainimarama, the Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum thanked the company for their sponsorship.
He has also wished the Fijian Rugby Team all the best in the Rugby World Cup which begins next Saturday.
Fiji will take on either Uruguay or Japan in their first match at 3.53pm next Saturday.
