Fiji Paralympics team ready for 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Rio

The Fiji Paralympics team is ready to go to the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Rio this month.

Team Fiji will be represented in Athletics and Table Tennis.

Team Fiji athlete Epeli Baleibau will take part in the men's high jump T47 classification while Mere Roden will be featuring in Table Tennis.

The team will be accompanied by Chef de Mission Mereoni Daveta, Section Managers Harvi Yee and Ben Qumi, along with Fiji Paralympic Committee President, Fred Fatiaki.

Fred along with current Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Iliesa Delana, are the only ones to have come back to Fiji with a Paralympic Games medal after Iliesa Delana won Gold in the High Jump event at the 2012 London Paralympic Games.
