Fiji Football Association President, Dr Mohammed Samsud Din Sahu Khan has been appointed at the head of the finance committee of the Oceania Football Confederation during a meeting in Auckland over the weekend.

This role, regarded as one of the great achievements for not only Fiji but the whole Oceania region.

Meanwhile Ba stamped itself as the true soccer giants after beating Lautoka 2-0 in the finals of the 2011 Fiji Cup tournament at Mangere Centre Park Sports Stadium.

Valerio Nawatu and Shameel Rao of Lautoka were shown the red cards together with Ba's Aisea Codro in the second spell.

A blunder by Lautoka defender Krishna Swamy paved way for Ba's first goal to Aisea Codro and the men in black led 1-0 at the breather.

Ismeli Naresia scored the second goal for Ba and the side walked away with $6000 Nzd in prize money.

In the only National Soccer League match today, Nadroga lost at home to Fiji U20 3-0 at Lawaqa Park.
