DAV College and Jai Narayan College qualify for Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship

DAV College and Jai Narayan College have qualified for the Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship that will be held in Ba in August.

DAV College thumped Jai Narayan College 5-0 today in the U-19 grade final of the Suva Secondary Schools Soccer Tournament.

In the under 15 grade final, DAV College defeated Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School 2-1.

Meanwhile, Korovuto College will play Sangam Sadhu Kuppuswamy Memorial College in the U-19 grade final of the Nadi Secondary School Football Tournament. The final will be played next Tuesday.

In the semis today, Korovuto College defeated Nadi Muslim College 2-0 and Sangam Sadhu Kuppuswamy Memorial College beat Swami Vivekananda College 5-4.

Also, Vunimono High School defeated Pundit Shreedhar Maharaj College 3-nil in the U-19 grade of the Rewa Secondary Schools Football competition at Saraswati Primary School Grounds today.

Vunimono High have also qualified for the Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship.
