The Crusaders Rugby team today visited students of Holy Trinity Anglican School.

Crusaders players Manasa Mataele, Israel Dagg and Ere Enari represented the team.

Former All Blacks and Crusaders fullback, Israel Dagg says they were delighted by the hospitality that they got when they arrived but seeing the students’ smiles was second to none.

14‑year‑old Penijamini Saqasere says he was very excited to meet one of his Super Rugby stars, Israel Dagg which he adds that it was a dream come true.

Another 14‑year‑old Crusaders fan Kevin Singh says seeing Israel Dagg in real life was something memorable for him.

Meanwhile, Year 8 teacher, Adrea Koroiravudi says they prepared well for the teams arrival as this is the first time their school to be hosting a team from the Super Rugby.

Koroiravudi say the initiatives to bring sports stars to our country is a good way to promoting young sportsmen and sportswomen in their dreams of becoming professional sportspeople.

The students of Holy Trinity Anglican School would like to wish the Crusaders a great game this Saturday.
