Team Fiji athletes will be wearing new uniforms in next year’s Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea and also the 2016 Olympics.
FASANOC has announced that all local designers now have the chance to enter into a competition and create designs for a new set of uniform for our athletes.
Athletes Commission Chairman, Carl Probert said they are working with the Fiji Fashion Week and are encouraging local designers to take part in the competition as their design may stick on the Fiji uniform for a long time.
The winning designer will receive $1,000 cash prize and all expenses paid for a three day trip to attend the opening ceremony of the Pacific Games next year where Team Fiji’s uniform will be seen for the first time at the opening ceremony.
