Buadromo sets new record for Fiji
Swimmer, Matelita Buadromo has set a new record for Fiji swimmers in the 15 to 16 year age group at the Oceania Swimming Championship in New Caledonia.

Buadromo settled for bronze in the 200 meters freestyle in a time of 2 minutes 10 seconds. She broke her own record of 2 minutes 11 seconds set in last year’s Pacific Games.

The Form 5 student of Yat Sen Secondary school narrowly missed the Fiji Open Womens record by 62 milliseconds which is held by Caroline Pickering.
