Ba secured all three points in its opening match of the BiC Fiji FACT tournament after defeating Nadroga 4-1.
The Men in Black got off to a strong start in the competition, but it was a tough contest in the first half as both teams were locked at nil-all heading into the break.
Nadroga's defence stood firm and frustrated Ba's attacking efforts throughout the opening 45 minutes.
However, Ba came out firing in the second half.
John Alick opened the scoring in the 48th minute before Ryan Naresh doubled the lead in the 55th minute. Antonio Dogalau then took control of the match, scoring two quick goals in the 59th and 61st minutes to put Ba in a commanding position.
Nadroga managed to pull one back through Kehinde Adejumo, but it was not enough to stop Ba from claiming an important victory.
Speaking after the match, Ba President Pranil Dayal says he was proud of the team's performance.
Dayal says the team was focused on winning all its pool matches and maintaining momentum throughout the tournament.
He also call on Ba supporters to travel to Labasa and continue backing the team.
Dayal shares his message to the players was to perform at their best, keep scoring goals and stay focused on the team's objectives.
Ba now takes an early lead in its pool campaign with three valuable points from its opening match.
