Ba draws with Hienghene Sport in OFC Champions League match

The Ba Soccer Team left it late but claimed a share of the points with host club Hienghène ( Heng-ang ) Sport in a fast paced and entertaining 1‑1 draw in their first match in OFC Champions League in New Caledonia last night.

Both teams were locked nil all at half time.

Bertrand Kai scored first for the Hienghène Sport in the 70th minute which was equalised in the 90th minute by Ba’s Malakai Tiwa.

Ba is currently in second place in the Group B standings with one point while Team Wellington is leading the standings with three points after thrashing Puaikura FC 4-1.

Ba will take on Puaikura in their second match on the Wednesday at 6pm in New Caledonia.
