Ba and Lautoka to renew rivalry in IDC final

Two old rivals of Fiji Football, Ba and Lautoka will clash in the final of the 2017 Courts IDC this afternoon.

Ba thrashed Suva 5-0 while Lautoka overcame Rewa 1-0 in their respective semifinals yesterday.

Ba’s midfielder Junior Narendra Rao who scored two goals in the semifinal says the young players are showing good performances in the tournament.

Rao says they know Lautoka are a good side and they will not be underestimating them.

Lautoka will be hopeful that their new striker Christopher Wasasala can continue his fine form from yesterday when he scored the winner against Ba.

Ba will face Lautoka at 2:30pm and you can catch the live commentary of this match on Radio Sargam.

Meanwhile, in the Senior Division final, Navua is leading Nadroga 1-0 with a Iliavi Katonibau goal.

The game is into the second half.
