Prof. Prasad says coalition is stable and united, no tension within government

National Federation Party Leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Professor Biman Prasad says the coalition government remains united and stable, and there is no tension within the alliance.

Speaking on behalf of the NFP, Professor Prasad says they have always been a trusted coalition partner and that its relationship with the People’s Alliance and Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is solid.

Professor Prasad says everybody in Cabinet and the party are in support of the Prime Minister, and certainly, he is as well.

He says any disputes, especially legal matters, should be addressed through the appropriate legal channels and that the rule of law must always take precedence.

Professor Prasad says the Prime Minister has made his position clear, and it aligns with the NFP’s long-standing commitment to legal and democratic processes.

He adds that since taking office, the coalition government has consistently respected legal procedures, and the NFP strongly supports this approach.
