Kiwi number two Steve 'Mini Mike Tyson' Heremaia taught Fiji's Golden Boy, Joy "The Jet" Ali a boxing lesson last night after he beat Ali on unanimous points decision, at Prince Charles Park last night.

Heremaia handed Ali with good hard clean shots and the win has pushed Heremaia up the rankings and set him up for a regional title bout.

Ali accepted the loss, however, he has asked for a re-match, something Heremaia feels that he will have to train extra hard for.

Looking at the other fights that were held last night, Waisale Ratu was knocked out by Aisea Naitini of Navosa in the 5th round.

Parmod Pillay of Navosa knocked out Etuate Kofi from Naitasiri in the 4th round and it was a draw fight between Whid Khan and Pita Tabuarua.

In the main-supporting bout, it was also a draw between Junior Farzan Ali and Ray Anton Orlarte from the Phillipines in the lightweight contest.

There were a lot of disgruntled supporters who disagreed to the decision and said that Orlarte should have won the fight on unanimous point’s decision.

The fights were held at Prince Charles Park last night.
