About 100 athletes expected to defend Fiji’s Pacific Mini Games title
About 100 athletes are expected to defend Fiji's Pacific Mini Games title next year in Wallis and Futuna.

FASANOC President, Vidya Lakhan said they will be looking at reducing the size of Team Fiji's contingent next year as there will be only eight sports.

In the 2009 Pacific Mini Games in Cook Islands, Fiji took a total 219 athletes where Fiji won 32 gold, 26 silver and 20 bronze medals.

Meanwhile, FASANOC also announced today the appointment of Alini Rabitu Sovu as the Chef de Mission of Team Fiji to the Mini Games.

The 9th Pacific Mini Games will be held from the 2nd to the 12th of September next year.
