The Australian Prime Minister’s XIII rugby league side will take on the Fiji Prime Ministers XIII on the 11th of October at the ANZ National Stadium.

This has been confirmed by Vodafone National Rugby League Acting Chief Executive Officer, Don Natabe who stated that this will be a day of fun and a spectacular game of rugby league.

Natoba says the Fiji Military Force Men’s and Women’s Rugby League teams will be facing the Australian Defence Team as the curtain raiser for the much anticipated Prime Minister’s Cup.

Natabe says they have changed the Vodafone Fiji Bati and Vodafone Fiji Bulikula Team to the Fiji Prime Minister’s XIII Men’s and Women’s Team and the squad will be finalized after the Vodafone Cup Grand Final sometimes next month.

The Australian team will be made up of NRL players.

He says tickets for this game will be available next Monday at the Fiji Sports Council which will cost $20 for grandstand and $5 for grass and concrete embankment.

Natabe adds that on the week of the game, tickets will increase to $25 for grandstand and $7 for grass and concrete embankment.

Natabe says the Australian team is expected to be in the country on the 8th of October.
