Drua Women set for home opener as Legge predicts strong performance

Ahead of their first home game of the season against the Western Force Women, McDonald's Fiji Drua Women's Coach Mike Legge says he is optimistic of a good result.

When asked about last week's game against the NSW Waratahs, whether selecting 10 debutants was the best decision, Legge says they felt that last week's team was the best team that could get a result

Legge highlighted this to the media, from the Drua base in Nadi saying that they had a long and honest review session yesterday, followed by two brutal session on the field.

He says that the team responded really well after the review session and it is one of the best sessions they have had so far.

At this point in time we are still awaiting confirmation on if Heat Protocols will be in place for this game.

Meanwhile, Karalaini Naisewa, Mereoni Nakesa, Josivini Naihamu, and Aqeula Raitubu were named in the team of the week.

The Fiji Drua Women will play their first home game against the Force 2pm Saturday at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
