A 36-year-old truck driver who is charged with one count of theft has pleaded guilty to his charge.
Rajnesh Prakash Chand admitted that on 29th October last year, he unloaded 1,510kg of tuna worth of $6,508.62 from the stock that he had to deliver at Sea Fresh Fiji Limited in Lami.
Upon weighing, the shop manager found some stock missing and alerted his boss about the theft.
The matter was reported to the Lami Police Station and Chand was arrested.
The matter will be called on the 25th of this month for sentencing.
