Fiji’s only local bank, HFC Bank is planning to deepen its retail banking business throughout this year.
Chief Executive Officer Ross Munn says 2016 was a year with a lot of challenges not only for them but for the nation with the effects of TC Winston.
Munn says they will be focusing on structural changes, expansion programs and enhanced service delivery.
He says they will be opening their main branch in the heart of Suva City in Ganilau House while they will also be relocating their Nakasi branch from Tebara Plaza to the new Rup’s Bazaar complex in Nakasi.
Munn says both of these branches are expected to be in operation by April.
He adds that these expansions will provide more accessibility to retail and business customers while they are also looking at extending business hours for customers once the Nakasi branch is operational.
Munn says they are also planning to extend their reach by opening a new branch in Ba.
