Minister for Economy and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum urged students to support each other, support Fijian made products and businesses which will then help Fiji become a much better, brighter and prosperous place.
He made this comment while speaking at the 2016 Fijian Made Competition and Kula Awards last night.
Sayed-Khaiyum said this is a way students can remember the schools and people that were badly devastated during TC Winston.
He added this event is a testament that Fiji can prosper even through obstacles.
Meanwhile, Film Fiji CEO, Dallas Foon said it is a great honour to have the Fijian Made banner present at the event and he also urged the students to always buy Fijian made products.
The competition which is hosting 30 schools from around the country will end today.
