30 new jobs created as Vinod Patel extends Lautoka shop

30 new jobs have been created with the opening of Vinod Patel Company Limited’s two new levels at their Lautoka shop.

The cost for the extension is $3 million which includes a new Home and Living shop, the head office and a new escalator.

While speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya says businesses and government need to work as a combined unit to be able to achieve results that will be beneficial to all Fijians.

Meanwhile, in the past six months 50 people have gained employment after the opening of Home and Living shops in different locations. 

There are 14 Vinod Patel Hardware outlets across the country and the company has plans of opening two new Home and Living shops in Ba and Rakiraki.
