From surprise lunches to bustling flower stalls and last-minute hamper deliveries, love is all around Fiji today as couples, families and friends celebrate Valentine’s Day.

For 25-year-old Vanshika Vrishti, the day comes with excitement and a special surprise.

She says she has bought a surprise for her partner, and while she chose not to reveal his name, she joked that he is definitely one lucky guy.

Her message for the day is to treat your loved ones and make them feel special.

For 24-year-old Ishaan Shah, Valentine’s Day is spent delivering flower bouquets, chocolates, cakes and hampers to spread joy across town.

He says he has been celebrating the day by bringing happiness and smiles to people through hamper deliveries.

His message is to celebrate love with your loved ones, and if you need a last-minute delivery, you can contact him at Buddy Flowers & Hampers.

At the Suva Market flower section, 47-year-old Rigieta Takayawa says Valentine’s Day remains a special occasion for vendors.

She says she enjoys meeting many people, with some arriving early in the morning to buy flowers for their loved ones.

She adds that after the busy morning, she plans to head out and celebrate with her two daughters.

Whether through thoughtful gifts, heartfelt surprises or simple time spent together, Valentine’s Day has once again filled the day with affection, appreciation and shared moments, reminding everyone that love comes in many forms.
