7 jobs created after opening of new restaurant in Labasa

Seven new jobs have been created following the opening of the Fry Master Restaurant in Tuatua, Labasa, as the business looks to meet growing demand for dining options outside Labasa Town.

Restaurant owner Ashneel Sharma says the decision to open the restaurant in Tuatua was driven by high demand from customers, particularly those travelling between Labasa and Savusavu who have limited restaurant options outside Labasa Town.

Sharma says traffic congestion and limited parking in Labasa also made it difficult for customers to access restaurants in the town area.

He says locating Fry Master outside the Labasa Town boundary provides customers with another option that is easier to access.

Sharma says affordability is also a key focus of the business, with the restaurant aiming to keep its food prices lower compared to other restaurants and to provide delivery services to customers within a 10-kilometre radius.

He adds finding a suitable location was one of the biggest challenges he faced while trying to establish the restaurant.

He says despite this initial difficulty, he remained determined to establish the business.
