Residents of Tacirua East are still concerned after a spate of break-ins which occurred within the space of two days around their area last week.

The residents say they see a lot of teenagers loitering on the streets in the day and the night.

They are asking what is being done about it.

Some residents say today they saw a group of teenagers looking into cars parked on the street.

They are worried that these might be the very same ones involved in the four break-ins last week.

While Police had said last week that operations in the Tacirua East area remain ongoing, with increased patrols, heightened police visibility, and strengthened community engagement initiatives to sustain operations and ensure the safety and security of residents, fijivillage News has been told by residents that there is hardly any visibility of Police.
