The South Pacific Stock Exchange is inviting organisations across Fiji to participate in the SPX Annual Awards 2026, featuring an expanded programme across two key segments including the Annual Report Awards, Fiji's only dedicated awards recognising excellence in corporate annual reporting, and the Capital Market Excellence Awards, recognising outstanding achievements and contributions to the development of Fiji's capital market.
SPX says entries for the Annual Report Awards close on 30th October 2026, and tickets are now on sale, with both award entries and ticket bookings available online at www.spx.com.fj.
They say there is no cost associated with applying for an award and the process is entirely online and eligible organisations are required to complete a questionnaire and submit their annual reports for assessment.
They says the Awards Night will be held on Saturday, 14th November 2026, at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, bringing together corporate leaders, investors, financial institutions and other industry stakeholders for an evening celebrating excellence and achievement.
SPX says building on the successful return of the SPX Annual Awards in 2025, this year's programme has been significantly expanded to provide more opportunities for organisations and individuals to be recognised.
The programme comprises over 20 awards.
They say the prestigious Annual Report of the Year awards have been expanded to recognise Gold, Silver and Bronze winners in both the listed and unlisted company categories, celebrating a broader range of achievements in corporate reporting excellence.
SPX the Annual Report Awards will be assessed by an independent judging panel chaired by SPX Director Lorraine Seeto.
They say beyond corporate reporting, the Capital Market Excellence Awards have also been expanded to recognise the contributions of different participants to Fiji's capital market.
They say the recipients will be determined by SPX based on market activity, performance and notable contributions to capital market development.
SPX says the evening will also recognise five SPX-listed companies reaching significant listing milestones and feature the Lifetime Achievement Award, which was introduced in 2025 to honour individuals whose longstanding contributions have helped shape Fiji's capital market.
SPX Chief Executive Officer Sheraj Obeyesekere says the development of a strong capital market depends not only on the Exchange itself, but also on the standards maintained by companies and the contributions made by capital market stakeholders.
He says the SPX Annual Awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge these efforts while promoting greater transparency, accountability and excellence across Fiji's corporate sector.
Obeyesekere says the expanded programme reflects their commitment to acknowledging excellence more broadly.
He says they are encouraging organisations to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their reporting achievements and invite the wider business community to join us on 14th November.
The CEO says beyond the awards themselves, this is an occasion for Fiji's corporate and capital market community to come together, celebrate achievements and strengthen connections.
The SPX Annual Awards 2026 is supported by the Reserve Bank of Fiji, Sun Stockbrokers and ATH Group of Companies as Gold Sponsors; Merchant Finance and the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants as Silver Sponsors; and Gaunavou Investments Company, Fiji Ports, Kontiki Finance, VB Holdings and Axellerate Sports as Bronze Sponsors.
