Rusila Lutu Maitoga of Malolo, Vunayasi in Nadi has dedicated her Bachelor of Commerce in Tourism Studies and Management from the University of Fiji to her late father.
This year was one of the most challenging of her life following the passing of her father at the beginning of the year.
Maitoga says her father was like her best friend, and accepting the reality of his death was difficult.
She acknowledged God for giving her strength, as well as the unwavering support of her family and friends.
Maitoga believes her strengths include being helpful, patient, hardworking and able to remain strong even during tough times.
She hopes to build a successful future in the management field, continue learning and gain valuable experience.
Maitoga adds that UniFiji has played a significant role in shaping her journey by providing support, knowledge, and an environment in which she could grow.
