The Republic of the Fiji Military Forces will conduct a funeral procession rehearsal tomorrow in preparation for the State funeral of the late former President and Na Gone Turaga mai Naisogolaca, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

The RFMF says the rehearsal will involve troop movement and marching at designated routes from 6.30am to 9am.

The routes will include the State House, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Berkley Crescent, Cakobau Road, Gladstone Road, and Southern Cross Road.

They also say that as part of the programme, they will conduct a ceremonial firing of 105mm howitzer blank rounds between 10am and 12pm at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua, with approximately seven rounds to be fired.

The RFMF is urging members of the public to anticipate traffic disruptions along the stated routes and are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
