The Rewa Football Club has yet to receive the prize money for the Pacific Cup tournament from the Fiji Football Association and New Zealand Fiji Football Incorporated.
Rewa FC President, Nazeel Buksh confirmed this to fijivillage News after midfielder Bruce Hughes posted on his facebook account that players have not been paid for tournaments they worked hard for.
Hughes also claimed that he has been blocked from the official Rewa FC page, however, the President says that he is not blocked.
Buksh adds that all other payments, including allowances and other prize money shares, have been completed.
He says it is just a misunderstanding.
When asked about the reason for the delay, he says it may be because Fiji FA staff are on holiday or due to some other reason.
