Fiji Football Association President Mohammed Yusuf has confirmed that the Pacific Cup prize money for Rewa FC has been received and will be processed once the office reopens on 5 January.
Yusuf says the prize money was transferred to Fiji FA during the festive season and that Rewa FC was fully aware of this.
This follows a facebook post by Rewa midfielder Bruce Hughes, who claimed that players have not been paid for tournaments they worked hard for.
Hughes also alleged that he has been blocked from the official Rewa FC facebook page, however, Rewa FC President Nazeel Buksh says this is not the case.
Buksh confirms that all other payments, including allowances and other prize money shares, have already been completed.
