Permanent Secretary for Fisheries and Forestry, Atelaite Rokosuka

Permanent Secretary for Fisheries and Forestry, Atelaite Rokosuka has been reassigned as the Head of Fiji Learning Institute for Public Service from this week.

Rokosuka was involved in the controversial planned wind turbine project and was found guilty by the Public Service Disciplinary Tribunal and reprimanded publicly but resumed office on the 19th of last month.

The Public Service Commission had earlier said that was the decision of the independent tribunal.

fijivillage News questioned Acting FICAC Commissioner, Lavi Rokoika last month on whether there is any investigation into the wind turbine project.

It was also earlier highlighted by the Public Service Commission Chairman, Luke Rokovada that the Fiji Sports Council Executive Chairman, Gilbert Vakalalabure was also involved in the failed wind turbine project.

Rokoika says she is unable to comment on files that they have and files that they do not, and investigations that they will be conducting or have conducted.

She says they work on complaints that is given to them, and from then on, the process will then go through within the system of the organisation.

The Acting Commissioner says in terms of that particular file, it will be inappropriate for her to talk about files within the commission.
