Officers involved in an alleged case of police brutality in Votualevu, Nadi, have been warned about their conduct.
This comes after a video circulating on social media shows a police officer forcefully dragging a man into an empty shop in Votualevu, while two other men in reflective vests are seen pulling another man into the shop.
The officer is also seen kicking the man’s legs from under him while the man swears at the officer.
When the officer realises he is being filmed, he runs towards the person recording the incident and demands that they stop, before the video abruptly ends.
While responding to questions to fijivillage News, Police say the complainant does not wish to lodge a report and does not want to pursue the matter further.
