The Police Blue team is gearing up with confidence for the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s, boosted by the inclusion of several players from the Police 15s squad.

Sakiusa Vosayaco, Ponipate Tuberi, Petero Kelevanua, Waisale Ravuiwasa, and Rusiate Matai have joined the Police 7s side for the first time.

Team manager, Timoci Nasilasila says these players will add much-needed physicality, which they are eager to showcase on the field.

Nasilasila says that he has reminded the team to treat every match as a final, as their main goal is to win this year’s competition.

Police Blue narrowly missed out on the title last year after losing to Devo Babas in the final.

The Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s kicks off this hour.
