Our role is to support the Government in disseminating correct, factual and evidence-based information to the public, to address misinformation, and to educate and create awareness.

Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Eseta Nadakuitavuki stressed this during her traditional welcome ceremony.

She says that information integrity is very important.

Meanwhile, Minister for Information, Lynda Tabuya says that providing key Government information goes beyond simply ticking boxes and is more about having the passion to ensure the public is equipped with the right information that impacts their lives.

Tabuya further says that every person who calls Fiji home will be supported as the Ministry works together as a team.

She adds that the Ministry has the ultimate responsibility to unite Fiji and bring about peace in an increasingly contentious world.

The Ministry of Information consists of the Department of Information and the National Archives of Fiji.
