Turuva having won his third gold since 2024, showed class, leading from start to finish, while Adi Ceva faced no challenge as she cruised to victory.
While speaking to fijivillage Sports, Turuva says has thanked God for the win and has dedicated it to his school, the principal, teachers and the students and family of Lonehats - boarders.
He has also dedicated this win to his parents and to the supporters of Natabua.

Meanwhile, Adi Ceva, who hails from Namotomoto in Nadi with maternal links to Levuka delivered a powerful performance to retain her title in the same event she has won since her earlier secondary school years.
Overcome with emotion after her victory, Lutumailagi told fijivillage Sports the moment was both exciting and surprising.
She says behind her consistent achievements lies a demanding routine, as she balances the pressures of academic life with an intense training schedule.

Lutumailagi also highlighted the discipline required off the track, noting the challenges of maintaining a strict diet.
She shared that it was stressful, sticking to the same diet and cutting out favourite foods.
