22-year-old Labasa goalkeeper and Fiji rep Joji Vuakaca from Nakalou, Macuata, who was first introduced to the game through a school teacher has signed with Bula FC.

Vuakaca, whose football journey began at Bulileka Primary School, shares that it is every footballer’s dream, and having his family behind him makes it even more special.

He stresses that he did not expect this call-up and will do his best to retain his position.

Meanwhile, Bula FC emphasises that Vuakaca's early encouragement sparked a passion that has carried him through every level since.

The club also highlights that Vuakaca represented Labasa College at high school before progressing into the Labasa FC youth system, eventually earning his place in the Labasa senior team.

Bula FC further states that his consistent development and performances saw him rise onto the international stage, representing Fiji at the U20 World Cup and later earning selection for the Fiji senior national team.
