Jacks of Fiji officially launches Fiji Football Association merchandise

Jacks of Fiji, through its XL Sports stores, has officially launched its new line of Fiji Football Association merchandise, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion into football with its commitment to supporting the growth of the sport, both locally and abroad.
Head of Procurement for Jacks of Fiji, Dipesh Kumar says the partnership reflects a long-standing vision to tap into football’s strong and growing fan base.
He says there is a strong following here in Fiji and among Fijians living overseas, but from a merchandise perspective, there has been very little available in the market.
He adds that they saw this as an opportunity to give fans the chance to proudly wear Fiji football merchandise.
Kumar says football is a growing sport with strong commercial potential and could become a major venture for Jacks in the future.
He says the current agreement between Jacks of Fiji and the Fiji Football Association is for one year, adding that this is not a short-term commitment.
He says development doesn’t happen overnight and they want to invest in football, grow the sport, and grow the market together.
The Fiji Football merchandise is now available in-store at all XL Sports locations.
Fiji Kulas defender Naomi Waqanidrola says the launch of official merchandise will strengthen the connection between the team and its supporters.

Suva FC striker Merrill Nand has welcomed the launch of the new merchandise, saying that in the past, fans often approached players directly to ask for jerseys, and with Jacks now handling the sale of merchandise, supporters will have better opportunities to purchase team jerseys and other items.
He adds that seeing supporters in club jerseys will serve as a major motivation for players on the field.
Rewa FC youngster Avishan Chand says the availability of official football merchandise is an important step for local football in Fiji, especially for young players representing the country.
Chand, who plays for Rewa FC’s Under-17 and Under-19 sides, also says that having official jerseys and merchandise allows fans to feel more connected to their teams and national players.
Football continues to play an important role in communities across Fiji, and the official merchandise provides supporters with a meaningful way to show their pride and support for the game.
